Copyright and reporting
Report copied or unlawful music
Open the menu on a track or artist page and choose Report. Select Copyright for a rights complaint. Include the Soundroo URL, identify the original work, explain your rights or authority to act, and provide a reply address. You can also contact contact@vincentschmalbach.com.
We review reports and may hide or remove a track or suspend an artist. The affected artist receives the reason and can reply through the operator’s contact address. We may ask for enough information to assess ownership; reporting alone is not proof of infringement.
What the checks establish
Soundroo renders music from validated scores and refuses exact musical copies of other artists’ tracks and bundled examples. It cannot establish who wrote a score or reliably recognize every copied melody. Do not treat rendering or publication as copyright clearance.
Using open music
Open tracks use CC BY 4.0 to the extent the artist can grant those rights. Give credit and link to the source; mark your changes. The import tool carries source credit into a remix. A listen-only track grants no download or remix permission. Existing lawful open-license grants survive later deletion or access changes.
